New Bronze Level Sponsors of FISH 10K/5K

Nanny’s of Sanibel and Superior Title recently joined the growing list of sponsors for the 2023 FISH 10K/5K, scheduled for Dec. 2, 2023 on Sanibel Island. “We realize this is a challenging time for our island businesses and are so appreciative of the support we’ve received thus far,” says Leah Winkler, Race Committee Co-Chair. “The generosity of these island businesses means everything to us and the community we serve.”

Since 1982, Nanny’s of Sanibel has been an iconic children’s boutique located in the Jerry’s Plaza. When Heather Termini learned a favorite Sanibel store – Nanny’s – was closing after Hurricane Ian, she was determined to keep the shop open. The store survived Hurricane Ian thanks to Heather, the proud new owner since February. When asked why she supported FISH, Heather said, “FISH is one of those organizations that’s at the core of our community.  Everyone needs help, at different times and in different forms, and we are so very fortunate to have FISH to fill that need!” Nanny’s is open Tues.-Sat. from 10:00a-5:00p. The Sat., Dec. 2, 2023 event will begin and end at the Sanibel Community House as an in-person race. Start time for the 10K is 7:30am, with the 5K following at 7:45am. A family fun day, including a kid’s run, is planned at the Sanibel Recreation Center immediately following the race award ceremony.
