FISH OF SANCAP is proud to highlight its ongoing and invaluable partnership with Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church (Saint Michael’s). This collaboration has provided enormous support to the community, encouraging a spirit of service and generosity that continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of many.
Saint Michael’s has been a crucial partner to FISH in numerous ways, offering shared space at the “Gathering Place,” a welcoming and vital location where community members can come together. This shared space has been instrumental in hosting various events and programs that support the mission of FISH.
One of the standout programs made possible through this partnership is Camp Noah, a camp designed to help children recover from trauma. This year, Saint Michael’s provided the venue for Camp Noah, where 40 campers were able to experience healing and joy in a safe and nurturing environment.
In addition to Camp Noah, the church generously hosted the FISH back-to-school supplies distribution event, which served over 200 students. This event ensures that children are well-prepared for the school year ahead, equipped with the supplies they need to succeed.
Saint Michael’s has also provided a venue for critical stakeholder meetings, allowing FISH to collaborate with key community leaders, partners, supporters and volunteers to discuss and plan the best ways to serve community’s needs.
Additionally, their consistent support during the holiday season, particularly through their annual holiday pie assistance, has brought warmth and comfort to many families during a time of celebration and togetherness.
“We deeply value our partnership with Saint Michael’s,” said Maria Espinoza, Executive Director of FISH OF SANCAP. “Their unwavering support and generosity have enabled us to reach more individuals in need. We are incredibly grateful for their continued collaboration and look forward to working together for many years to come.”
FISH is committed to continuing this partnership and values Saint Michael’s significant contributions. Together, they will keep making strides in serving the community, bringing hope and assistance to those who need it most.
