“When I moved to the islands over 20 years ago, I was drawn to its strong sense of community,” says Chuck Bergstrom, REALTOR® with RE/MAX of the Islands. “It didn’t take long to learn about FISH OF SANCAP, an organization that exemplifies community through their neighbors helping neighbors motto, their commitment to those that live, work and visit here, and their connectedness to the needs of the islands.” Bergstrom, a longtime supporter of FISH, is proud to sponsor their 10K Race fundraiser that supports the organization’s mission of enriching the lives of all people in Sanibel and Captiva Islands as neighbors helping neighbors with social services, education and assistance.
Always drawn to the Island’s special magic, Chuck has been an island visitor since the late 70’s. Sanibel became home in 2000 when he made the permanent move from Chicago to Sanibel, and Chuck became a full time REALTOR® assisting buyers and sellers find their magic. Chuck’s professional career includes a background in accounting and finance, as a self-employed options trader on the historic floors of the Chicago Exchanges. He has over forty years of experience trading in the equity markets and his formal education includes business and finance courses.
