Scams, Identity Theft and Crime Prevention Workshop

We are pleased to offer a Crime Prevention Workshop on Mon., Oct. 25 as both an in-person and virtual event.  The in-person event will take place at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, and the virtual event will be offered via Zoom.  Both opportunities will begin at 11:00am. Due to the COVID pandemic and out of an abundance of caution for our community, all in-person attendees must wear a mask throughout the entire presentation and adhere to social distance guidelines.

The presentation will focus on personal and home safety; mail, phone and computer fraud and scams; the ‘dark house program’; and important techniques for protecting yourself.
