Helping Hands & Financial Assistance

Lending a Hand When It’s Needed Most

The key to navigating any crisis is having support and a plan. Through our Helping Hands program, FISH offers both.

If you are in a financial crisis, our social services department helps with essential costs such as rent, utilities and medical bills through our Emergency Financial Assistance program. One of the greatest gifts we can give our neighbors-in-need is the time to create and implement a plan to move you from crisis to recovery, and eventually develop a pathway to long-term self-sustainability alongside our professional staff, with the support of our volunteers, community partners and supporters.
