Coastal Vista Design Gives Back: Proud Sponsor of FISH’s JOG N JAM

Coastal Vista Design is thrilled to be part of the Sanibel and Captiva community spirit by actively giving back through support for local organizations like FISH of SANCAP. Founded in 2016 by Leigh Gevelinger, Coastal Vista Design is a Sanibel-based landscape architecture studio with a strong passion for community involvement that Gevelinger has carried forward since her student days.

This year, Coastal Vista Design proudly continues its annual sponsorship of the FISH JOG N JAM event, combining the energy of the morning’s 10K/5K races with an evening filled with fun, music, and camaraderie. “Coastal Vista Design is honored to continue our annual sponsorship for the FISH 10K race and our team is excited to participate in the race again this year,” says Gevelinger.

The excitement doesn’t stop after the race—this year’s JOG N JAM ends with a beachside concert featuring the high-energy funk and soul group Funk You, complete with a spectacular fireworks display. It’s a day that perfectly embodies the island’s spirit of connection, celebration, and care.

FISH continues to make an impact on the lives of Sanibel and Captiva residents, workforce, and visitors through their four pillar programs—Food, Island-Based Education, Senior Services, and Helping Hands. The organization is also focusing on long-term recovery, including mental health counseling and resources for those affected by Hurricanes Ian, Helene, and Milton.
