Thanksgiving is about sharing a meal, catching up with friends and spending time with the people who make a community feel like home. FISH of SanCap invites island residents, workers, families and friends to do just that at its annual Community Thanksgiving celebration on Tuesday, November 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sanibel Community House. 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Community Thanksgiving is complimentary and open to the community. Reservations are encouraged to help FISH plan for food and seating. The annual gathering brings neighbors together for a complimentary Thanksgiving meal prepared by Jerry’s Foods of Sanibel. Whether attending with family, meeting friends or simply looking for a place to enjoy the holiday with others, everyone is welcome.
