Welcome Ashley Price as Director of Philanthropic Giving

FISH of SanCap is pleased to welcome Ashley Price as Director of Philanthropic Giving. Price joined FISH in May 2026 and will lead philanthropy and fundraising strategies that support the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.

Price brings experience in fundraising, government advocacy, board management, leadership development, and event management. Prior to joining FISH, she worked with Goodwill Southwest Florida and the University of Miami Herbert Business School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology from Southern Methodist University.

“Ashley brings strong experience, community connection, and a clear understanding of the role philanthropy plays in helping FISH serve our neighbors,” said Maria Espinoza, Executive Director of FISH. “Her passion for relationship building and community engagement will help strengthen support for programs and services that impact island residents every day.”

In addition to her professional experience, Price has volunteered with Refugee Assistance Alliance, the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Committee, and the Level Her Up Committee. She has also received recognition for her work, including the Young Professional of the Year Award from the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce in July 2025 and the Development and Fundraising Excellence Award from The Community Foundation in December 2025.

When asked why she joined FISH, Price shared, “I am deeply honored to join FISH and work with a leadership team that operates with integrity and care. I look forward to working with the board, supporters, and community partners to advance the mission of neighbors helping neighbors.”

A Lee County resident for five years, Price values the compassion and resilience of the island community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and cooking.
